It is with considerable
            pleasure that I am able to give a reference for Kenneth Dane Muir,
            having known Ken since 1979. 
  
My initial contact with
            Ken was when he was employed as a sales representative for a large
            commercial stationary firm in Hamilton. Ken would call on the firm
            with whom I was employed, on a regular basis to maintain our
            stationary supplies. I always found Ken extremely pleasant to deal
            with, and an employee that any company would be proud to have
            representing them. 
  
In 1981 Ken approached me to act
            for him as he was taking over the family drainage business, as well
            as running his own commercial stationary wholesaling business.
            
  
When ken took over the family business the annual
            turnover was approximately $58,00 per annum. When he sold the
            business in 1984, the turnover was approximately $400,000 per annum.
            
  
During that time Ken was involved in the successful
            promotion and establishment o a concrete service which was
            subsequently taken over by his brother. 
  
There is no
            doubt that the success that Ken has achieved has been brought about
            hard work, diligence and effective use of business managerial
            skills. 
  
Ken has also established a successful property
            development business in Hamilton City and a 10.6 meter charter
            yacht, operating in the Hauraki Gulf. Ken’s ability’s in
            the field of commerce speak for themselves in his achievements over
            last four years. 
  
I would have no hesitation in
            recommending Ken for a managerial position which requires skill,
